Kathryn Hill Gowan October 11, 1959 – February 01, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Kathy Gowan Wellford, SC – – Kathryn Hill Gowan, 59, of 188 Galloway Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 1, 2019 at her residence. Born in Charlotte, she was the wife of Christopher Patrick Gowan and the daughter of the late Frank Lawson Hill and Doris Luttrell Hill. She was a homemaker, loved animals, gardening, elephants and fairies.

Mrs. Gowan loved her family, especially her grandchildren and was a member of Unity Center of the Blue Ridge. In addition to her husband, also surviving are two sons, Sean Mitchell and wife, Sarah and Charley Knight, both of Wellford; three daughters, Christy Carson and husband, Chris of Holliston, MA, Ashley Williamson and husband, Tyler of Boiling Springs and Alisha Mitchell of Wellford; a step-son, Trace Mitchell of Mobile, AL; a step-daughter, Jennifer Pigott and husband, Michael of Mobile, AL; four brothers, Jim Hill, Bob Hill, Larry Hill and Doug Hill; and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Gowan was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Hill.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Unity Center of the Blue Ridge. Memorial services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM at the church with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC, 29607.
