Obituary for Kathryn Ratliff GREENFIELD – Kathryn M. (McPherson) Ratliff, age 84, of Greenfield, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Crownpointe Senior Living. She was born in Farmland, IN on February 24, 1934 to Marley V. and Vera M. (Knorpp) McPherson. She was the former co-owner of Ratliff Trucking.

Kathryn also worked in the customer service and retail industry at the following places: Granny’s Ice Cream in Knightstown, Corner Hardware in Greenfield, Pizza King in Greenfield, Western Electric in Indianapolis, and Dana Corporation in Hagerstown. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Kathryn liked gardening, working outdoors, watching the squirrels and enjoyed reading.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Randy (Karen) Ratliff of Greenfield, Bradlee Ratliff of Indianapolis; and DeLynn (Jeff) Boyer of Farmland; four grandchildren, Derek Gustin, Cory Ratliff, Brent Boyer, and Stephen Boyer; and two great-grandchildren, Delanie and Jase Gustin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marley and Vera McPherson; and husband, Lennington Ratliff. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy.

40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 2:30 p.m. Minister Doug Nolen will be officiating. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery in Hagerstown.
