Mrs. Katie Sue Crumpton Stevenson, 70, of Danville, Va. Went to be with her lord. She passed away at her residence Monday December 31, 2018.

Mrs. Stevenson was born November 25, 1948 in Reidsville, Nc. to the late Joseph Crumpton and the late Catherine Crumpton. Mrs. Stevenson was married to her loving husband George “Pete” Stevenson.

She was a loving wife, mother grandmother and sister. Mrs. Stevenson is survived by her two daughters Sandra Higdon and her husband W.T. Higdon, April Campbell… Read More » and her husband Scott Campbell, and her son Stevie Stevenson and his wife Leighann Stevenson; her sister Jo Ann Leonard and husband David Leonard. She is also survived by her grandchildren Bryan Largen, Joshua Shelton, Abby Shelton, Carter Higdon, Tyler Campbell, Preston Campbell, Kyleigh Stevenson and Brynlee Stevenson.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Stevenson was predeceased by her brothers Freddie Crumpton and Danny Crumpton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel with Rev.

Bob Yeaman officiating with internment at Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund at 4401 Westover Dr. Danville, Va.
