Kearney Kinter Neal, 89, died peacefully at Brookdale of Murrysville, with his family at his side on January 13, 2019. He was born July 19, 1929 to S. Merle and Adabel Neal. He served as a Buck Sergeant in the US Air Force and returned home to marry Lillian Rae Whiteman in 1956, who preceded him in death in 2005 after 49 years of marriage.

He is survived by his children Michael and partner Patty, Mark and wife Mary and Marianne and wife Meagan. Grandchildren; Jennifer Goss and husband Brendt, Daniel, Alexandra and Austin. Also great grandchildren Dylan, Colton, Ryleigh and Logan Goss.

He was preceded in death by brothers; Sonny and Wendell and sisters; Lucille Simpson and Evelyn Penberthy. Friends will be received at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm with a funeral service on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Russ Crouthamel officiating. Interment will follow at North Point Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Mt. Zion Luthern Church or to a charity of your choice. Kearney loved the outdoors and his woods, so also consider planting a tree or installing a bird feeder in his honor.
