Kennard “Kenny”‘s Obituary Mr. Kennard “Kenny” Wayne Creech, 55, of Foley, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. He was born on July 29, 1963, in Troy, MO, to Mildred and Kennard Creech. Kenny was the little beloved brother of 4 sisters, who loved to dote on him, Glenda, Janet, Joyce and Donna.

He attended Troy School and later graduated from Buchanan High School with his cap, gown, and certificate of attendance. While in school, he worked in the cafeteria assisting with the kindergarten lunchtime and really enjoyed that. He was a hard worker took his jobs seriously.

For many years, as long as his health permitted , Kenny worked at the (Sheltered Workshop) Earthwise Industries located in Troy. He was a huge sports fan! He loved the St. Louis Cardinal’s, and many other sports teams.

Kenny was very active with the Special Olympics, golf, volleyball, track, and bowling, were just some of his activities He looked forward all year to the Lincoln County Fair, and it was one of his most favorite occasions to attend. With the help from many of the fair board members, and other fair workers , Kenny met many of the famous musical stars that have performed over the years at the fair, and he loved music and dancing. He was a devoted member of the Old Alexandria Methodist Church, and enjoyed attending and all church activities.

Kenny was such a joy to his large, loving family and all those who knew him. He is survived by his sisters and their families: Gene and Glenda Chapman of Foley, Janet Niehoff of Troy, Joyce and John Reller of Old Monroe, and Donna and Gary Myers of Troy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mildred and Kennard Creech, brother-in-law, Paul Niehoff, and nephew, Brian Chapman.

A visitation to be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244. Visitation also to be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, from 10:00 a.m – 11:00 a.m. at the Old Alexandria Methodist Church, 87 Old Alexandria Road, Troy, MO, 63379. A funeral service to be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the Old Alexandria Methodist Church, Troy, MO.

Rev. Mark Spence to officiate. Memorial donations may be made c/o the funeral home to:, Earthwise Industries or Special Olympics.

Interment to follow in Old Alexandria Cemetery, Troy, MO.
