Kenneth Alexander Holm, Jr. age 77, of Kosciusko, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 11, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 10:00am from the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Thursday from 9:00am until 9:45am at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Brandon.

He was born in Bronx, NY on April 14, 1941 to the late Kenneth Alexander Holm and Stella Adamkiewicz Holm. Kenneth loved Jesus, family, friends, adventure, travel, fishing, the military, and telling interesting stories about his military experiences. He was a member of Cleary Baptist Church.

He has been to all 50 states as well as Asia, Europe, and Africa. His favorite place was Alaska. He held the record for the largest fish at the VA Home in Kosciusko, a 34.

5# grass carp. He worked as a commercial fisherman, painter, and mechanic. One of his jobs in the US Navy was search and rescue.

Kenneth was a US Navy and Vietnam Veteran. He served aboard the USS Forrestal (CV-59) and USS Franklin D Roosevelt (CV-42) among others during his distinguished 22 year career. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Janice Dew Holm.

He is survived by children, Kenneth A. Holm, III (Renee Dean Holm) ) and Gregory Todd Holm (Bonnie Haney Holm); grandchildren, Lance Killian Holm, Amber Rose Holm, Samuel Anthony Holm, Hope Marie Morrow, Lauren Grace Morrow, Hannah Renee Holm, and Kenneth A Holm IV; siblings, Stella Houle, Carolyn Smith, Donna Tracy, and Chris Holm; other relatives and friends.
