Kenneth Allen Fetters, age 83, of Ludlow Falls, formerly of Phillipsburg passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Story Point Heartland Hospice in Troy. He was born January 22, 1935 to Harvey and Ruth (Cain) Fetters in Arcanum, Ohio. Kenneth was a 1953 Milton-Union High School graduate then married Gloria Ann (Warner) on July 2, 1955 at Phillipsburg EUB church.

He then joined the United States Air Force Air National Guard in Springfield for 6 years. Kenneth also was formerly the Mayor of Phillipsburg, president of Phillipsburg Rotary and was a “Paul Harris Fellow” five times to help eradicate World Polio. He retired from DP&L and Specialty Paper Print Pack Co. as an electrician.

Kenneth had a Ham Radio WB8DUY and flew his co-owned Cesina airplane. He also loved riding his bicycle where he rode many miles through Ohio to see the Ohio barns, Indiana on the RAIN ride, and Michigan especially to Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinac Island. He especially enjoyed travelling to Europe in 2010 to watch the Tour de France Bike race with Sara-Jane and Samantha.

Kenneth loved his surprise 80th Birthday party with family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, April 30 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM. Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 1 at Bethel Cemetery, Englewood.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Story Point Memory Care. Online memories of Kenneth may be left for the family at www. hale-sarver.com.
