Harvie “Jack” R. Howard, age 87, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born August 21, 1930 to the late Cecil W. & Shirley M. (Jeffress) Howard in Morehead, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his wife Annie Lou Howard; parents; granddaughter Fonda Jo Howard and siblings Milton Howard, Virginia Fraley, Juanita Wright, and Eshmal Howard.

He will be missed and remembered by his sons Jodie W. Howard and Terrie Lee Howard; grandson Cory W. Howard; 3 great grandchildren and brothers Bobby H. Howard, James K. Howard, and Billy Jo Howard. Harvie served his country proudly in the United States Navy Reserves. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.
