Bobbie Lou Niswonger, age 94, of West Milton, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Maria Joseph Center. She was born February 18, 1924 to the late Herbert Clair & Rebecca Mae (Elleman) Shafer. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Coate Niswonger; sisters Rebecca Beam, Mary Magel, Nan Wilson; half-sister Marjorie McElwee and stepbrother Claude Phillips.

She will be missed and remembered by her daughter Mary Ann Mikel of West Milton; son Samuel C. Niswonger of Laura; grandchildren Stacy Douglas, Amy Kitchen, Cody Niswonger, Emily Smith, Nathan Niswonger, and Sam Niswonger; great grandchildren Ashley Kitchen, Karly Douglas, Cory Douglas, Katlyn Douglas, Kinsey Douglas, Jordan Smith, Kennedy Smith, Atlantis Smith, Conner Niswonger, and Gavin Smith. Lou was a realtor for Yates Realty for 40 plus years. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 9 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton.

Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, May 8. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Township F.I.S.H.
