Kenneth Dale Pococke Saginaw, Michigan Father, grandfather and uncle passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Dale was born April 20, 1927, in Saginaw to the late Kenneth L. and Sylvia (Merriam) Pococke. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. He then became a practicing Architect in Saginaw for over 50 years.

Dale was a big fan of college football and professional golf. He was an accomplished athlete, achieving both a hole-in-one in golf and a 300 game in bowling. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Vern A. Pococke, Kay E. Ritchie and Jill M. (Daryl) Shauger; daughter-in-law, Karen S. Pococke; grandchildren, Chelsy (Mike) Rasdorf, Chad Reinke, Todd (Andrea) Pococke, Jordan Vela and his mother Lynn Vela.

He was predeceased by his son Steven D. Pococke; and former wife Helen (Schweinshaupt) Pococke. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. officiated by Chaplain Kelly Iseman.

Burial will take place at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center.
