Kenneth Eugene Woods April 04, 1931 – May 13, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Kenneth Eugene Woods was born April 4, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio and passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, May 13, 2019 in Richmond, TX. Kenny lived and enjoyed 88 years of a full and youthful life. He was a hardworking man who made a living and supported his family as a truck driver.

He enjoyed dancing with his wife, daughters, or anyone he could pull out on the dance floor. He loved his bluegrass and polka music, watching his favorite westerns and RFD TV, riding motorcycles and enjoying a “cold one” on the back patio with family and friends. Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Katy Woods; sons: Jacob Woods, Doug Woods and wife Beth and Mike Young; daughters: Connie Phillips & Husband Joe, Valerie Alameda and Husband Alexis and honorary daughter Clarice Levell; grandchildren: Deavin, Audrey and Kile Phillips.

Mackenzie, Frankie and Liam Woods, Nixaliz and Penelope Alameda, Damian Brame, Cory Woods and Jonathon and Shawn Young; brother and sisters Marion, Barbara and Charlotte. He is preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Mary Woods. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 2:00 until 3:00pm, where funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Garmany & Carden Funeral Home, 3103 School St., Needville, Texas.

Interment will follow services at Needville Public Cemetery. “My father didn’t tell me how to live; He lived and let me watch him do it”. Pallbearers for Kenny will be Jacob Woods, Joe Phillips, Alexis Alameda, Deavin Phillips, Kile Phillips, and Ray Gordon.

Services are under the direction and personal care of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, 3103 School St., Needville, Texas 77461, (979)793-4515.
