Obituary for Kenneth Harold Smith Kenneth Harold Smith, 80, of Sand Rock, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. He was born November 26, 1938 to the late Leroy and Ethel Haney Smith. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and retired from D&J Manufacturing.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Deweese, Rev. Jonathan Whisenant, and Rev.

Kenneth Lasseter officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. hour of service.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jewell Wilkie Smith; son, Terry Smith and wife, Sandra; brothers, Donald Smith, Alvis Smith, and Larry Smith; sister, Sandra Chambers; grandchildren, Kristen, Brandon, Haley, Abby, Jordan, April, Amber, and Kendra; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Smith.
