OBITUARY Kenneth Max Carden May 23, 1953 – January 19, 2019 High Point – Kenneth Max Carden, age 65, of Thomasville, North Carolina passed away on Saturday January 19, 2019. Kenneth was born May 23, 1953 in NC to Peggy Benson Carden and Bobby Kenneth Carden. A resident of Thomasville for over 35 years, Max loved anything to do with cars, especially NASCAR and antique automobiles.

Max was a long time member of Ashland Street Baptist Church and loved his Church and Church family. Max is survived by; father Bobby Kenneth Carden and mother Peggy Benson Carden; sisters Lynn (Duane Hughes and Cathy (Gary) Wheeley; brothers Mark (Sherry) Carden and Philip (Jill) Carden; children James Carden, Angie Carden Holland and Lauren Carden Hibbet; stepchildren Eric and Erica Fields; as well as 8 grandchildren; previous wives Sherry Fields and Debbie Pridgen Merritt; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his church family. Max was preceded in death by; grandparents Preston and Velma Benson, Coy and Carrie Carden; and sister Pam Carden Richards.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Max’s name to Ashland Street Baptist Church, 515 Ashland Street, Archdale, NC 27263. A visitation for Max will be held Monday, January 21st, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Ashland Street Baptist Church, 515 Ashland St, Archdale, NC. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 at 11am at Ashland Baptist Church; Pastor Nick Childs and Deacon Randy Beck officiating.

A burial will occur Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2pm at Briar Creek Memorial Gardens, 7601 ACC Blvd, Raleigh, North Carolina 27617. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
