Obituary for Kenneth Schneider Kenneth Schneider, 87, of Cheyenne passed away October 6th in Cheyenne. He was born January 16, 1931 in Cheyenne and graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1949. Ken served in the US Navy and then the Army and Air National Guards from which he retired in 1968.

After serving in the Navy, he worked for the postal service for 34 years. In 1954, he married Alice Hensman. They were members of Dazee’s Dancers, riding on the CFD square dance float from 1955–1970.

Ken was a member of the American Legion and Cheyenne Philatelic Society. He was an avid collector, involved with Beer Can Collectors of American and Matchcover Collectors of America to name a few. He is survived by his wife, Alice; three children, Glen Schneider, Alan (Pamela) Schneider and Gayle Tracy) Ourada; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edna Schneider and a sister, Marian Hoffer. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Old West Museum.
