Kenneth Ray Wootten, age 41, of Hot Springs, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was born in Dade City, Florida on July 27, 1977 to Otis “Bo” and Georgia Ann Rankin Wootten, who preceded him in death. Ken was a 1995 graduate of Cutter Morning Star High School.

He worked for C.J. Horner Co., the City of Hot Springs Sanitation Department, Garland County Road Department, and a locally owned tree service. He was an avid razorback fan and spent his summers camping and cruising Lake Ouachita with Freda and his beloved pets Titan and Roxie. He is survived by his fiancé, Freda Harper; brother William “Tony” Wilson and sister-in-law Tracey Wilson, who raised him from the age of ten years old; nieces Courtney and Kristen Wilson, who were more like sisters; great-nephew Brentlee Hulsey; grandmother Jennie Trott; and one aunt, Judy Hibbs (Chris), and many other family and friends.

Per Ken’s request, there will be no formal service at this time. Instead, the family will be celebrating his life with a private memorial at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
