Kenny (Kenneth) Woodworth Jr., age 59, of Glen Carbon, IL, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, after a long battle with heart disease. Kenny was born on July 7, 1959 in Granite City, IL, a son of the late Kenneth Woodworth Sr. and Deloris (Rice) Bast. Kenny had worked for the Ford Motor Company for many years.

In his younger years he enjoyed riding horses, as he got older he enjoyed riding his Harley. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Kenny loved life, he loved to laugh, but most of all he loved his family.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his step-father, David Bast. He is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Drew Paganucci of Maryville, IL; proud uncle to Erin Groeteka of Glen Carbon, IL; extended family and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road, Glen Carbon, IL. In celebration of his life, funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, with Pastor Greg Dickerman officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Shriners Hospital’s for Children. Donations will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
