Kerby Franklin Lintz, 83, husband of Louise Straka Lintz, of Summerville, SC passed away Friday, June 22, 2018. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday morning, June 28, 2018 at 9 o’clock at St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church, 11001 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485. The Rite of Committal will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to SC Autism Speaks www. autismspeaks.org Kerby was born July 27, 1934 in Jerome, PA a son of the late Porter Augustus Lintz and Stella Viola Smith Lintz.

He honorably served in the US Marine Corps and was an Electronics Technician with U.S. Department of Navy Civil Service. In addition to his loving wife, Louise Lintz, survivors include his son, Joseph Kerby Lintz, honorary son, Luder Dean Marchant; daughters, Christine Lintz Lafond (Dr. Jeff Lafond), Lana Lintz Reilly (Tony Reilly); brother Willard Lintz (Barbara Lintz); 5 grandchildren, Abigail Louise Lafond, Hannah Claire Lafond, Jeffrey Marc Lafond, Jr., Ashton Anthony Reilly, Caitlyn Elizabeth Reilly, brother-in-law, John Miller; and sister-in-law, Jane Lintz. In addition to his parents, Porter and Stella Lintz, Kerby is predeceased by his siblings, Ralph Lintz, Porter Lintz (Leah), Berniece Miller, Glen Lintz, and Ruth Sheeler (Bob).
