Kim Elaine Hendricks February 01, 1966 – May 03, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Kim Elaine Hendricks, age 53, a resident of Ocean Shores, died on May 3, 2019, in Taholah, Washington. She was born on February 1, 1966, in Oakland, California to Paul E. and Nadine A. (Curley) Hendricks. She was an enrolled member of the Quinault Indian Nation.

As a young child, she came to Taholah. After her mother had remarried, the family settled in Hoquiam where Kim attended local schools. She had lived in Quinault from 1996 until 2007, when she moved to Olympia and attended South Puget Sound Community College where she received her GED.

She always had a love for the beach, so in 2005, she returned and lived in Ocean Shores and Copalis Beach. Kim was an artistic person and was proficient in native cultural arts such as beading, basket weaving, creating jewelry and dream catchers. She was an excellent cook and was known for her pies.

She also loved the outdoors and often went camping, fishing, swimming, berry picking and walks on the beach. Surviving relatives include her six children, William Webb of Ocean Shores, Delysia Webb of Shelton, Jeremiah Webb of Olympia, Micah Hendricks of Ocean Shores, Keenen Hendricks of Ocean Shores and Sequoia Hendricks of Ocean Shores; her father, Paul E. Hendricks; a grandchild, Rylan Ernsting; and siblings, Paul Hendricks, Michelle Hendricks, Sonny Perez, Juanita Perez, Ryan Hendricks and Robin Perez. Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

An urn committal service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park. A dinner will follow at the Community Center in Taholah. Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary.
