Kimberly “Kimi”‘s Obituary Ms. Kimi Knoblock Hawkins, age 55 of Brooklyn, MD passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her home. Born on April 15, 1963 in Montgomery County, MD she was the daughter of the late John and Barbara Knoblock. Ms. Hawkins is survived by her son Danny Albaugh, granddaughter Makenna, finance John Hallbeck, sister Tammy Johnson and fiancee Corkey, brother Tracy Knoblock and wife Porcha, step mom Dixie Knoblock, nieces Monica Johnson, Brittany Barber, and Jonni Leigh Knoblock, and many other extended family members.

She will also be remembered by her stepfather Cliff Bower. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother John Knoblock, Jr. and wife Julie. Ms. Hawkins was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School in Germantown in the class of 1981.

She worked as a bus attendant for the Montgomery County Public Schools and also a homemaker. In her free time she enjoyed watching her son Danny play baseball and taking care of her granddaughter Makenna. A memorial service will be planned for Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.

The interment of her cremains will be private.
