He was born on February 5, 1954 to Lawrence Raynal Beal and Lillian Mathis Beal. He graduated from Lehi High School.

Kip married Elywna Ault on May 27, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they raised their three kids, Quaken, Brandi, and Dewlyn in Cedar Fort, Utah. He loved his wife, kids and grandkids very much and there was never a dull moment!

Kip was an excavator in early adulthood. He went on to work at Tooele Army Depot, then transferring to EG & G; he spent over 30 years between the two jobs. In school and work, he was know for his crazy sense of humor.

Kip loved softball and he played for many years in a Men’s Fast Pitch League in Lehi. For many years he also coached the local boys’ baseball team in Cedar Fort where he lived. He loved to be with his brothers and sons, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles.

He especially enjoyed seeing just how bad he could scare anybody that would ride with him in the dune buggy. Kip was a story teller! He had a special bond with his mom and while she was alive, one of his favorite times was to visit on Saturday mornings to tell stories and make her laugh.
