Kitty, as she was fondly known, was born August 8,1922 in Munich Germany to Christopher Schwarzhuber and Kreszenz Wittman Schwarzhuber. She proudly became a United States citizen on November 18,1952.

She was a devoted wife and mother and was employed with Macks Stores in Spring Lake for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Orr Lee Reed, and a son, Larry Lee Reed. Kitty is survived by daughters, Patricia Reed Rossano and husband, William, and Janet Reed Wilson and husband, Gary.

We cherish her memory and know we will be reunited one day; Absent from the Body, Present with The Lord. Special thanks to her caregiver, Olga Ramos, for her excellent and loving care. We will never forget you.

Also, our thanks and love to Marta Garcia for the years she cared for her. In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to a favorite animal shelter and consider adopting a rescue pet. Kitty loved animals and had many rescue pets during her lifetime.

Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home, 2226 Lillington Hwy, Spring Lake, NC 28390 with a visitation there on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Adcock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Murray officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
