Kurt’s Obituary Our beloved son, brother, grandson, and dear friend Kurt W. Engelbert, III, 34, died suddenly on March 24, 2019. Survived by his parents, Kurt W. Engelbert, Jr. and Dale Engelbert (nee West); his sister, Lauren Engelbert; his grandmothers, Ruth West and Margaret Engelbert; his aunts and uncles, including: Karla and Marshall Thompson, Beth and John Dalmas, Ken and Linda Engelbert, Kevin Engelbert, Cathy Engelbert and Ed Martin, Peggy and Rob Rust, Keith (godfather) and Kelly Engelbert, Kyle and Lisa Engelbert, and godmother, Maureen Siefring; his great aunts and uncles BettyAnne McCann and Steve Hughes, Herbert and Frannie Engelbert, Cathy Bernardin, along with dozens of cousins. A graduate of Princeton High School and the Berklee College of Music, he was the founder of Kurt Classic Productions at Two Cats Loungin’ Studios and was a guitarist, producer and instructor of music.

Kurt was predeceased by his grandfathers, Kurt W. Engelbert, Sr. and Frederick G. West, his aunt, Mary Engelbert and his uncle, Bill West. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and family members and his beloved feline friend, Martin. Kurt was a sweet and gentle soul who will be remembered for his musical genius, unforgettable smile and laugh, and uncanny ability to recall every Seinfeld episode from memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, March 29, 9 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave. , Collingswood, NJ 08108. Prayer service will follow at 11 AM.

Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kurt W. Engelbert, III Music Memorial Scholarship at Princeton High School at www. gofundme.com/kurt-w-engelbert-iii-music-memorial-scholarship.
