Kyle is survived by his wife, Sarah Smith; mother Carol Ann Tubbs and father Howard Alvin Smith; brother Kevin Michael Smith; uncle Charles Louis Batson, aunt Sheryl Bennett, aunt Lynee Batson, cousin Jared Bennett, cousin Sarah Fricke, cousin Elizabeth Batson Tubbs, cousin Charles Luke Batson and cousin Michelle Batson Smith.

A visitation for Kyle will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. A cremation will occur.
