Kyle K. Stanton, 49, of Canajoharie, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 due to complications of diabetes. Born April 10, 1969 in Albany, he was the son of George and Barbara (Senecal) Stanton, who both survive him. Kyle was a graduate of Canajoharie High School and had been employed as an auto body painter at Elmo’s Auto Body, Inc. in Scotia.

He had a true love for his dogs and found so much pleasure in nature, enjoying turkey hunting, fishing, ice fishing. Kyle also had an interest in classic cars. Kyle was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Timothy Batchler, both of whom passed on January 22, 2017.

Cherishing the good memories are his father and mother, George and Barbara Stanton of Cobleskill; his brother, Trevor (Patty) Stanton of Rotterdam; three nephews: Trevor Stanton of Rotterdam, Jonathan Batchler and Jack Batchler both of Rotterdam; his two nieces: Abby and Chloe Batchler of Cobleskill; along with numerous other relatives. A private service will be held at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, Inc., PO Box 40, Howes Cave, NY 12092.
