Lakisha Renee Richard February 23, 1979 – May 15, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Lakisha Renee Richard born February 23, 1979 in New Haven, CT departed this life peacefully surrounded by her family, Ministers, and very close friend on May 15, 2019 at her home in Springfield, MA. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, niece and a loyal friend. At a very young age, Lakisha received the Lord as her Lord and Savior, and was baptized at Solid Rock Community Baptist Church.

At the present time, she was a member at Hopewell Missionary Church in Georgia. When she returned home she attended Revival Time Evangelistic Church whenever her health permitted. Lakisha loved the Lord.

Lakisha moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she became an entrepreneur – the CEO of C.O.F.F. E Inc. (Creating Opportunities For Families Everywhere). Some of the things she enjoyed was shopping, cooking and always had a giving heart.

She will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her grandmothers: Rosa Espuet and Geraldine Brown Walters; and grandfather Ernest Richard, Sr. and Eugene Brown and God sister Brenda Roberson. She leaves to cherish her memories, her Grandmother Mazie Brown, her two sons, Kye’mari Brown-Carrington and Justice Brown-Taylor.

She also leaves her mother, Mildred Brown and father William Brown; God parents Clarence (Nancy) Roberson, and Sarita; her sisters: Shaneeka Brown; Shareena Brown and Brittany Brown; God sisters: Cheryl Roberson, Patricia Roberson, Chacarra, Tiana Shaw and Samaria Eady. Also to mourn her passing are brothers William Brown, Jr, Christopher Royal and brother-in-law Jerome Grant, Jr., God brothers Eugene Roberson and Samuel Eady. A multitude of friends including her dear friend Nakiah Graham; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who will mis her immensely.
