Lance Curtis Lindstrom, age 37, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at his house in Baxter. Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home with Rev. Genelle Netland Officiating.

Family will greet friends for one hour before the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji, MN. Lance was born July 28, 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Rollie and Debbie Lindstrom.

He grew up in Burnsville. He was a member of the Boy Scouts where he achieved the rank of Arrow of the Light and spent many camping trips at Many Point Boy Scout Camp. Lance worked at Target while attending high school.

He graduated from Burnsville High School in 1999. He then transferred to Bemidji’s Target where he worked weekends while attending Central Lakes College in Staples, MN where he graduated in 2001 with a degree in Heavy Equipment Operation. After graduation Lance started working at Belair Builders.

He then worked for Richard Knutson Incorporated in Savage, following in his dad’s footsteps. He returned to Bemidji to work at Target until he transferred to Target in Brainerd in 2013. While still working at Target, he accepted a job at Viking Coca-Cola in Brainerd in 2014 where he was currently working as an operations manager.

Lance loved spending time with family and friends, playing video games and board games, socializing with new people, and building and painting model kits. He loved science-fiction movies with a favorite of Star Trek and watching Dr. Who. He also loved working on the ranch, raking hay, and being with the cows.

Lance loved playing with his niece; he was “the tickle monster”. He had a great heart and punny witt. Lance was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

Lance is survived by his mother Debbie Lindstrom (Bemidji), sister Mariah (Cameron McCaddon) Parks (Buffalo,MN), Godparents Aunt Karen and Uncle Roy Lund (Bemidji), Godmother Aunt Rose (Stuart Campbell) Sandau ( Prior Lake), special friend Amy LaPierre (Crosby), Great Aunt Toddy and Uncle Jim Kobe (Bemidji), and Goddaughter and special niece Kristen Sandmeyer (Bemidji).
