Obituary for LaRae Shepherd LaRae Nabors Shepherd, of Rockwall, TX, passed away May 6, 2018, at the age of 40. She was born January 10, 1978, in Dallas, TX. A member of Lakeshore Church, LaRae was a loving, compassionate wife and mother.

She was sassy and witty and had a sharp sense of humor. If she picked on you, then you knew she liked you. She loved to prepare and provide food for her family and friends.

LaRae was spunky and fun loving with a great smile. A beautiful person inside and out, her melodic laugh will be remembered by all who knew her. LaRae absolutely adored her family and they will miss her tremendously.

LaRae is survived by her loving husband of 17 ½ years: Tim Shepherd; sons: Trevor Austin Shepherd, age 13, and Cooper Lee Shepherd, age 11; parents: Billy and Joan Nabors and JoAnn and Jack Routt; siblings: Steven Nabors and family, Kathy Armstrong and family, Lloyd Nabors and family, Felicia Nabors and family, Christi Carter and family and Heather Dugger-Wallace and family; parents-in-law: Jerry and Mary Shepherd; sisters-in-law: Susan Shepherd and April McIntyre and family; and grandmothers-in-law: Marie Shepherd and Ruth Gates; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved her dearly. A celebration of life will be held 10:00am Friday, May 11, 2018, at Family Cathedral of Praise, 790 Windbell Circle, Mesquite, 75149 with Pastor Jeremy Seutter officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday evening at the church from 5:00 to 9:00pm.
