Obituary for Larry Calvin Dohy Print Larry Calvin Dohy, 72, of Swannanoa, went to be with Jesus on February 18, 2019. Mr. Dohy was born December 23, 1946 in Canton, OH to the late Alexander and Margie Steed Dohy. Larry loved his family, hunting and fishing.

He was very thankful for the opportunity to visit so many countries around the world. Larry was a veteran of the US Army 82nd Air Borne Ranger and a member of The Well in Montreat. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Romajean Hankins.

Larry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cherie Dohy; sons, Brandon Dohy (Elizabeth) and Aaron Dohy; and granddaughters, Sophia and Megan.
