Larry D. Demlow April 30, 1937 – May 12, 2019 Send Flowers Larry Dee Demlow age 82 of Hartford died on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his residence. Larry was born to Alvin and Jeanne (nee Turney) Demlow on April 30, 1937. Larry was raised in Antigo and graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1955.

On November 27, 1978 he was united in marriage to Marilyn B. Keck. She preceded him in death on April 18, 2012. Larry worked as a body shop manager in Milwaukee for 42 years and also as a welder for Helgensen Manufacturing for 15 years.

Larry enjoyed spending time at his house up north in Eagle River where he could go fishing and hunting. He liked watching the Packers and Brewers and fishing programs on TV. More than anything he loved spending time with his family, especially his father-son-grandson fishing trips.

He also enjoyed spending time with Jan’s sons, Jimmy Hall and Rick Hall. Larry is survived by his caring and loving companion, Jan Hall, his children: Chris (Donna) Demlow, Cindy (John) Lubbres, Charles Demlow, Cammi (Scott) , and Curtis (Traci) Demlow all of the Green Bay area and his step-children: George Pagel of Appleton, Vicky Schmidt of Laurel, MS, Sherry Kemper of Appleton and Michelle Serdynski of Milwaukee. He is further survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his siblings: Ruth (Floyd) Denee of CA and Tom Demlow of Racine, 2 sisters-in-law: Gale Demlow of Antigo and Lori Keck of Pewaukee, his step-siblings: Bonnie (Dave) Koudelka of LaCrosse, John (Connie) Lutz of Burlington, Bill (Susan) Lutz of Sparta and Carlton (Nancy) Rudloph of Ironwood, MI and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister Judy Demlow Rudolph, his twin brother Jerry Demlow and his step-mother Mary Demlow. Larry will be missed by many friends and relatives. We would like to extend a special Thank You to Horizon Hospice, Dr. Peter Cornelius, Dr. Kurre and many other nurses and medical staff.

We would also like to thank Maureen Mitchell, Brian and Bruce Wirth, Terri Wirth and Gene Dietenberg. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Jackson with Rev. David LaPlante officiating.

Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford. The family will greet visitors on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials for the benefit of the family are appreciated. The Schmidt Funeral Home in Jackson is serving the family.
