Obituary for Larry J. Selfe He was born in Johnson City and had resided in Bristol and Piney Flats most of his life. Mr. Selfe had been a plumber for over 50 years and was the owner of Wilson and Selfe Plumbing. He was known to be a great plumber.

He was a member of the Kettlefoot Rod and Gun Club in Bristol, VA. and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He attended Poplar Ridge Christian Church in Piney Flats.

He was known and loved by everyone he knew. Mr. Selfe is preceded in death by his parents Howard Selfe and Agnes Johnson, a brother Ronnie Selfe and his sister Kathy Selfe (Shelton). He is survived by his wife Linda, his children David Selfe, Michael Selfe, Travis Selfe, Cecilia Helton, and Brian Selfe.

9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Poplar Ridge Christian Church, 206 Poplar Ridge Rd.

Piney Flats. A funeral Service will follow at 8:00pm with Pastors Evan Wolfe and Roland Whittemore officiating. Mr. Selfe will be laid to rest Saturday January 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at East Tennessee Funeral Home in the Garden of Solomon, 2630 Hwy 75 Blountville, TN 37617.
