Larry L. Scott, Sr., 67, of Butler passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler, having lost his battle with lung cancer. Born September 4, 1951 in Chicora, he was a son of the late Thomas L. Scott, Sr. and Dolores A. Haley Scott. Larry retired from the DuBrook Company as a material driver following 13 years service.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving is his wife, Cheryl McCommon Scott whom he married June 5, 1992. His children: Larry L. (Andrea) Scott, Jr., William Scott, Nicole (Tom) Pisor and Christina Scott.

Ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Three brothers: Thomas J. Scott, Sr., Edward (Michelle) Scott, Sr., and Dave Scott. A sister, Debra Scott.

Also surviving is his father-in-law, Leroy Eddinger and sisters-in-law, Marsha (Gene) Claypoole and Donna Hartle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. There will be no visitation for Larry Scott who passed away February14, 2019.
