Charlotte M. “Sis” Ross, 81, of Butler, died Thursday evening, March 28, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot. She was born August 6, 1937 in Butler, a daughter of the late Joseph Weiland and Charlotte (Forcht) Weiland. Sis was a homemaker and was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, where she taught CCD classes.

She had volunteered at Gospa Missions and enjoyed painting. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Ross, whom she married September 24, 1960, he died April 11, 2015; also her siblings Babe Weiland, Rich Weiland and Frances McKissick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, Carbon Center. The Rev. Matt McClain, Pastor, will officiate.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home, Butler.
