Obituary for Larry Owens Owens, Alvin Lawrence “Larry” Age 79 Larry was born in Miami, Florida and passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Port St. Lucie. Beloved husband of 58 years to Eloise Owens. Devoted father of Pam (Doug) Skidmore of Woodland, Alabama, Angie Leal also of Woodland and Scott Owens of Tampa, Florida.

Brother of James (Barbara) Owens of Ft. Pierce, Florida and Clifford (Leslie) Owens of Olympia, Washington. Larry is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel and Emerson Owens. Larry retired from the United States Air Force in 1979 and relocated to Ft Pierce. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends at YATES FUNERAL HOME, 1101 S US 1, Ft. Pierce, FL on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 6 PM until Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
