Larry R. Gordon, 77, a lifelong Rushville resident, passed away on May 16, 2019 in Rushville. He was born on October 15, 1941 in Shelbyville to the late Robert E. and Bernice (Orme) Gordon. Larry served in the US Army.

He married Sandy Turk on October 17, 1965 and she survives. Larry was a farmer in Rush County all his life and also drove a school bus for 43 years in Rush County. He was a member of Big Flatrock Christian Church many years and was the church organist.

In addition to his wife, Sandy, of Rush County, Larry is survived by his son, Michael Gordon of Rush County, his daughters, Lori Moran of Rushville and Jennie (Kelly) Wilson of Rushville, a sister, Connie Kay (Bill) Schroeder of Taylorsville and aunts, Norene Martin of Indianapolis and Rosemarie Gordon of Rushville. He will also be missed by his grandsons, Andrew (Abby) Gordon, Mason Gordon, Clayton Moran, Nate Moran, Spenser Wilson, and Tyler Wilson and 2 great-granddaughters, Lux and Eve Gordon . Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 10 AM in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastors Becky Gibbons and Lynne Kreiger presiding.

Friends are welcome to visit the family from 2-6 PM on Sunday, May 19 in the mortuary. Burial will be in Hurst Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Big Flatrock Christian Church.
