Larry Wayne Bryce died November 13, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years 2 months 12 days. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2-4PM at the Little Axe Middle School, located at 2000 168th Ave NE, Norman, OK 73026, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Larry was born September 1, 1946 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Herbert Earl and Ola Mae (Farris) Bryce.

He was raised and attended school in Dale, Oklahoma, graduating in 1964. Larry was inducted into the United States Army, proudly serving his country until his honorable discharge. He held different jobs over the years, mainly in construction.

He owned and operated several businesses in construction and in telecommunications. On March 8, 1986 he married Darla Ann Huotari in Norman, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Norman area.

Larry enjoyed tinkering with things, working with his hands, rebuilding motors to make them faster, boats, cars, drag racing, listening to live bands, and going to the lake. He loved his work and was a hard worker. His family was first and foremost in his life, and he loved spending time with them, especially his children and grandchildren.

Larry also enjoyed doing family genealogy. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ola Mae Bryce. Survivors include his wife Darla; daughter, Candy Parks and husband, Kevin; son, Johnny Scott Thomas; daughter, Kayci Vandergrift and partner, Dusty; son, Jared Bryce and wife, Angie; son, John Merlitz and wife, Irina; daughter, Nicole Howell and husband, TJ; son, Zach Bryce; grandchildren, Samantha, Alex, Michael, Josh, Libby, Reagan, Donovan, Jayden, Mikey, Mason, Brycen, Lincoln; great grandchildren, Jonsie and Franko; siblings, Cheryl Diehm and husband, Wayne, Nancy Coleman and husband, Mike, Pam Bryce, Kathy Dunaway and husband, Smokey, Darla Pittman and husband, H.A.; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Larry was loved by all those who knew him, he will be forever missed.
