Funeral services for Larry Wayne Slayton age 50 of Athens, Alabama will be conducted Tuesday at 12Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Woodard officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Mr. Slayton passed away Wednesday at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Mack Slayton and is survived by his wife, Cathy Slayton, his children, Larry Daniel Slayton, Ashley Brooke Slayton, Justin Joseph Ostrowski, Larry Wayne Slayton Jr., Tasha Nicole Moon and Brandon Ostrowski, his mother, Carolyn Gail Weeks, his step mother, Reeda Joyce Slayton, his sister, Donna Snow, his brother, Donald Ray Slayton, his grandchildren, Katlyn Slayton, Destiny Slayton, Aiyonna Slayton, Michael Kirch II, Cherokee Ostrowski, Castiel Ostrowski and Jaclin Ostrowski, his nephew, Ralph Taylor and his niece, Tabitha Taylor. Visitation will be Tuesday 11-12 at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
