Laura Anne Webb, 62, was born on May 18, 1955, and passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, surrounded in love by her family who adores her. Laura was born to Robert and Sue (Kukasky) Crites in Ravenna, Ohio, and lived most of her life in Conneaut, Ohio. A nurse for more than three decades, Laura’s greatest passion was taking care of others.

She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart, and her spirit will be carried on by them in continuing to do the things she enjoyed the most: gardening, photography, laughing and making impactful memories with friends and family. Everything that Laura touched bloomed and blossomed beautifully. Laura was welcomed to heaven by her father, Robert who passed away in 1995, and her mother, Sue, who passed away in 2016.

Laura was married to Kenneth Webb and, even after divorce, they remained very close friends. She is survived by Kenneth; their children Carly (Robert) Strader, Zachary (Jennifer) Webb, and Jacob (Katrina) Webb; her grandchildren Tyler, Briana, and Christian Strader; Ava, Mason and Julianna Webb; Cohen and Caden Webb; and Abby and Cameron Swantek; and her siblings, Susan (Ken) Longsdorf, Linda Wilson, Robert (Jayne) Crites, Jr., Kathleen Crites, Michael Crites and Matthew (Tanya) Crites. Laura’s family is grateful to the staff at Pleasant Ridge Manor and Healthsouth Rehabilitation of Erie who cared for her so tenderly during her brief illness.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Laura’s life on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 4 to 6 P.M. at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio. A private ceremony will be planned in the future for Laura’s final resting. Laura’s wishes for her family and friends are simply this: find your joy and follow your heart.
