Obituary of William Laughlin William B. “Bullfrog” Laughlin William Blood “Bullfrog” Laughlin, 95, of Conneaut passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He was born July 20, 1922 in Conneaut the son of the late Clyde and Florence (Blood) Laughlin. He graduated from Kingsville High School Class of 1942 and had remained a lifelong area resident.

Bullfrog married Betty Kukkola at Saybrook United Methodist Church on September 16, 1967. He retired from Foseco in Conneaut and after retirement worked at Orlando Brothers Golden Dawn for many years. Bullfrog was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #151, the Conneaut Moose Lodge #472, and the Marine Corp League.

He also enjoyed bowling and golfing, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Betty; children, Diana Laughlin, Ed (Pam) Laughlin, Tom (Liz) Laughlin, Wayne (Cathy) Laughlin, and Debi (Larry) Latva; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Laughlin was preceded in death by his first wife Jean in 1957; daughter, Janice Daub; a son, Bill in infancy; his brothers, Clyde, Jon, Reid, Jake, and Bob; sisters, Wilma Weagraff and Eleanor Kalinowski; and granddaughter Melissa Higley.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 7PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4PM until the time of service at 7PM at the funeral home. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the family.
