She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Matilda Thomas; husband, Walter Martin, Sr.; her sons, Vandyke Miller, Linz Miller and Aaron Martin and daughter, Quanda Miller, with visitation 10-11 a.m. Burial Pine Ridge Gardens, 28th Street, Gulfport.

Laval Martin, 87, of Gulfport died Saturday, December 22, 2018. She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Matilda Thomas; husband, Walter Martin, Sr.; daughter, Quanda Miller, and sons, Vandyke Miller, Linz Miller and Aaron Martin.

She is survived by her son, Michael Martin; daughters, Marsha Smith and Pamela Martin and a host of grandchildren and host of great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 3521-19th Street, Gulfport with visitation 10-11 a.m. Burial Pine Ridge Gardens, 28th Street, Gulfport.
