Obituary for LaVern Loudermilk LaVern Rogers Loudermilk passed away peacefully in sleep at the age of 95 on June 14, 2018. LaVern was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on June 2, 1923 to Walter and Merle Rogers. She graduated from Brownwood High School and married Wayland Loudermilk of Brownwood.

LaVern was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed crafts and making her own clothes. She was active in her church for many years. She loved to line dance and travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayland Loudermilk, sister, Sylva Dornhecker, sister Vonn Ellis, sister Nell Cheairs, brother Buddy Rogers, and niece Penny Ellis Herny. She is survived by son Randy and wife Dottie of Winters and their son Kyle; son Britt and wife Karen of Brownwood and their son Jay and his wife Randi of Midland and one great-grandson Waylon Jay of Midland, many nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made to Good Samaritan Ministries, PO Box 1136, Brownwood, 76804-1136.
