Laverne Fletcher August 19, 1926 – February 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Laverne Lane Fletcher, 92, of Clinton, Ky. , died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, at Baptist Health-Paducah.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Ballinger will officiate.

Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Fletcher, David McCoy, Brian Allen, Kyle Phillips, Tony Lane and Johnny Lane. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1926, in Hickman, Ky. , to the late Carl and Ethel (Watkins) Lane.

She was a homemaker. On July 5, 1945, she married Gene Fletcher. He died May 8, 2005.

She was a member of Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church. She is also survived by a three sons, Eugene (Teresa) Fletcher of Union City; Pete (Lianne) Fletcher of Milan and Eddie Fletcher of Clinton; a daughter, Dianne (Jesse) McCoy of Union City, 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Lane of Niceville, Fla. , and Johnny Lane of Woodland Mills; four sisters, Helen Lane Stroud of Columbia, Ky.

, Betty Harwood of Union City and Judy Jones of Homestead, Fla. She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Fletcher; brother, Carl Lane Jr. and a sister, Bobbie Lane. SERVICES Visitation Tuesday, February 19, 2019 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM White-Ranson Funeral Home 212 Washington Ave.
