The memorial service for LaVonne Baker of Verndale will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, at the Central Methodist Church in rural Verndale, with Pastor Chuck Horsager presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. LaVonne, age 82, passed away with family at her side on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud, MN, under the nurturing care of St. Croix Hospice.
