LaWade’s Obituary Mr. LaWade Strickland, Age 80 of Mayfield, KY passed away Tuesday May 28, 2019 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. He was a member of High Point Baptist Church, retired owner and operator of Strickland Shoe Repair in Mayfield, And a veteran of the National Guard. Mr. Strickland is survived by; one daughter Pamela Bailey of Lexington, KY; three grandchildren, Damon (Lauren) Bailey of Wingo, KY, Casey Bailey of Mayfield, KY and Marlena Childress; three great-grandchildren, Nash May, Sebastian Bailey, and Caleb Bailey all of Mayfield, KY.

He was preceded in death by; his wife, Catherine Bailey; one brother, LaWayne Strickland, and his parents. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00AM Thursday May 30, 2019 at the Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, KY. Rev.

Darrick Holloman will officiate. No visitation is scheduled. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the time of the service.

Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
