Lawrence Edward Lassiter, age 67, of Springfield, passed away February 8, 2019 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2pm. The family will receive friends prior to the Service from 10am.

-2pm. Mr. Lassiter was born August 25, 1951 in Springfield to the late Ray Dean and Lorine England Lassiter. He served in the Army, was a supervisor for Bellsouth and a member of Gideons Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Lassiter is preceded in death by his grand daughter, Brittany Hart; brothers, Kenneth Lassiter and Buford Lassiter; and sister, Lois Ann White. Mr. Lassiter is survived by his daughter, Misty Hartley (Richard Wyman) of Springfield; brother, Thomas (Betty) Lassiter of Greenbrier; and 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
