Mr. Lawrence Edward Waters, 87, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. Mr. Waters was born in Evansville, IN to the late Thomas and Ellen McGinnes Waters. Ed worked and retired as a police officer from the Evansville Police Department in Indiana; and later worked for the Forensic lab in St. Petersburg, FL Police Department.

He loved photography, was a Mason and Shriner and he was of the Lutheran Faith. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Waters of the home; two daughters, Kelly Waters-Stacey (Tom Stacey) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Brenda Slade (Gordon) of Stone Mountain, GA; two sons, Ken Waters (Renee) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and David Waters (Donna) of Nashville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Tyler Waters, Brad Waters, Jack Stacey, Brandon Slade, Parker Slade, Alley Waters, and Isaac Waters; and several great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
