Lawrence Lewis Spencer, 89, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born March 14, 1930 in Lawton, to the late Lawrence and Dorothy Spencer. He is survived by his daughter, Gayle (Ken) Beach of Paw Paw, son, Tom Spencer of Lawton, grandchild, Lee (Abbigail) Beach of Paw Paw, Great-Grandson, Cameron Beach of Paw Paw and great-granddaughter, Bryn Beach of Paw Paw.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois, his son Kenneth Spencer, his infant sister Mildred and sisters Margaret Brown and Rosalyn Harris. Lewis was a lifelong dairy farmer in Lawton, he loved the outdoors and horses. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 604 East 3rd Street, Lawton.

A memorial service will commence at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonnie Carpenter officiating. Inurnment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Lawrence Spencer or to the First Baptist Church in Lawton.
