Lawrence “Monty”‘s Obituary Lawrence Lamont “Monty” Carlson age 85 of Crystal, passed away Feb 17. Survived by wife Barbara A.; daughter Ceil (Steve) Strauss; sons Kevin (Francine) Carlson, Kit Carlson, Tim Carlson and Terry George (Anne) Carlson; daughter Vicki (Mike) Nelson; step-son Dan (Mary Jo) LaFond; 13 grandchildren, 1 step-grandson and 7 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by first wife Sheila; parents Lawrence H & Rosalie Carlson.

Monty was a career veteran of the U.S. Army and the MN Army National Guard. He was a teacher in several private schools. He was an active member of St. Mary of the Lake Church and the Plymouth Rockers.

Interment Ft Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the MN National Guard Youth Camp. 1360 University Ave .
