Arrangements for Mr. Lawrence William Piatt, age 77, of Decatur will be announced by Shelton Funeral Home, Inc Mr. Piatt, who died Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born September 18, 1941, in Elmira, NY to Leslie Piatt and Erma Purhn Piatt. He was a driver for Allied Van Lines.

Mr. Piatt was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Geraldine Piatt of Decatur; four sons, Robbie Piatt, Gary Dean Piatt, Vincent Piatt, and Chris Delmonte Piatt; one daughter, Shelley Piatt; one brother, Gary Piatt; one sister, Joan Scinta; and several nephews and nieces.
