Mr. Norman Lawrence Wynn, a resident of the Rocky Head Community, died Monday, July 16, 2018, at his home. He was eighty-four years old. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 19, 2018, from Rocky Head Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Weed and Reverend Joe Underwood officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Mr. Wynn was born May 7, 1934 in Ariton, Alabama.

He had worked at Fort Rucker with various aircraft maintenance contractors as a helicopter mechanic for thirty-two years until his retirement in 1997. Mr. Wynn was an active member of the Rocky Head Baptist Church for the past sixty years. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Bernice Allen Wynn of the Rocky Head Community; one daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and William Harper of Rome, Georgia; one son, Allen Wynn of Irmo, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Grace Harper and Anna Harper; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Carol Davis of Cumming, Georgia. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in his memory to The Gideons International, P. O. Box 291, Ozark, Alabama 36361; or to Mount Olive Cemetery Fund, C/O Mr. Gerald Goodson, 1681 Hwy 51, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
