Obituary of Lawrence Baldelli Jr. Lawrence P. Baldelli, Jr., age 50, of Fairfield passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and friends after a long two year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the beloved husband of Diane Karmas Baldelli. Born in Derby on July 13, 1967 he was the son of Lawrence P. and Penny Hronis Baldelli, Sr. of Ansonia.

He graduated from Ansonia High School and later became a salesman for Dworkin Chevrolet for many years before eventually taking over for his father-in-law to serve as Chief Operating Officer of Met-L-Test Laboratory, Stratford in 2002. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Mill River Country Club in Stratford, where he built numerous lasting friendships and was well respected. Larry had a great sense of humor, was full of life and his dynamic personality would light up a room as soon as he entered.

Above all else however, he enjoyed time spent with his family and adored his two boys. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents and beloved wife Diane of 26 years, other survivors include his loving sons, Niko and Gino Baldelli of Fairfield, his two sisters, Wendy and Cindy Baldelli, both of Ansonia, his mother-in-law, Natalie Karmas of Trumbull and his niece, Alexa Micciche of Ansonia.

He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Charles Karmas, maternal grandparents, Peter and Veneta Hronis and paternal grandparents, Larry and Elsie Baldelli. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield.

Friends may greet the family on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd. , Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
